Enjoy Holly Springs Parks and Greenways, but Stay Safe

Per the Wake County Stay at Home Order, Holly Springs Parks & Recreation is taking additional measures to limit activities where people may come into close contact with each other.

Holly Springs open park areas and greenways remain available for use, and visitors are expected to follow social distancing guidelines, remaining at least 6 feet away from others. Bass Lake Park and Sugg Farm gates will be open for greenway access until 7:30 p.m. daily, however boat rentals and the concession stand will remain closed.

All park amenities including athletic fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, restrooms, drinking fountains, and playgrounds are closed in accordance with state and county stay at home orders. When there are differences between the state and county orders, the stricter interpretation applies.

All indoor facilities, programs and rentals will remain closed or postponed until further notice. This includes fitness classes at the Hunt Center, before and after school care and track out programs, adult programs, senior trips and programs, programs at Bass Lake and Sugg Farm, ticketed performances at the Cultural Center, private rentals, and the Spring Fling event. A decision on spring youth athletic leagues will be made by early April, and an announcement will be provided at that time.

The Holly Springs Farmers Market remains open on its winter hours schedule, following grocery store regulations. The next farmers market is April 4, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. on W. Ballentine St. beside the Cultural Center.

Please follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to keep yourself and others safe. We appreciate your patience as we all do our part to maintain social distance and limit exposure.
